December 27 New Year Prophecy for 2009 I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!!!  Our time left here on earth is coming to a close as the timing of our King Jesus' return is getting closer and as I usually do every first of the year, I seek God's voice regarding the new year.God is always on the move and we need to keep pace with Him these days. He wants us to seek Him deeper than we ever have before. He wants to be pursued with the same firey passion He feels for us.So, He has speaking to me about a deeper consecration He wants to do, not only in me, but in the entire body of Christ as He calls us deeper into relationship with Him as THE LOVER OF OUR SOUL. He brought my attention to old mindsets I still hold about my past and how I allow the old shame based thinking that hold me back from His best. I go so far than retreat because of fears of unworthiness based on what I CAN NOT DO. It's all about Him though and what does the scripture say? I CAN DO ALL THINGS IN CHRIST JESUS, the emphasis IN CHRIST because we can do NOTHING w/o Him. But we think accepting our weaknesses and using them as an excuse is humility, when in essence Christ showed me it is a deeper pride issue of trusting in myself and refusing to trust Him. Thus I have repented and surrendered those emotions, cleared the path so to speak. So I can hear His voice clearly again!!! So, I was thinking on how Benny Hinn prophesied that 2009 is the year of GREATER ANOINTING and while I was thinking, the Lord said, "and deeper anointings require deeper accountability-a deeper awareness of His holiness and our responsibility to uphold those standards of holiness. I recently went thru leadership training classes in my church so I'm much more aware of His high calling and the stewardship required. So, this is Your word spoken thru the prophets, Lord-those with "ears", let them hear!!! September 14 Ladder People versus Adder PeopleMy pastor has been preaching a series on how to be a People Person and today his last point was on choosing people who speaks God's words over your life, words that build you up and encourage yo never to give up. I was telling my pastor afterwards that I watch Ed Young from Fellowship Church in Texas on Sunday mornings and he calls the right kind of people, "Ladders", that will help you out of the pit you find yourself in. People w/o their own agenda and people that will encourage according to God's word. Opposed to what Ed calls "Adder" (vipers) sss, who are just out to keep you down with them and inject their negative viewpoint (venom) into you. You just have to refuse to listen to those "Adders" anbd just shake them off. My pastor says,"I tell them I love them but I'm not buying. Then I turn around and leave." And my pastor has been paralyzedfor 28 yrs, he REFUSES to listen to any negativity about his healing because he is not going to let anyone steal his joy! He told us today that when he is in his casket, if the preacher says anything negative about God healing him, he is going to sit up from his casket ans say NO, GOD HEALS!!!!  Sonetimes, I know it is easy to play the victim and just accept any words that are spoken over you, especially when it comes from "Adder Christians" but the bible says we are to judge the spirits behind the words spoken over us, (words are spirits that go out), so whose spirit do you want? The Holy Spirit of God or the spirit of the evil one? Stand up Church~!~!! September 08 Back frim the mountains I had a great and REFRESHING time!!!  When Mom and I got to Pigeon Forge, unbeknowst to us lining Main Street was THOUSANDS of classic cars!!! WE LOVE CLASSIC CARS!!!! An unexpected treat, THANK YOU JESUS!!! Traffic thru Pigeon Forge was a"bear" all week (PARDON the pun). Actually, we did not see any live bears! Mom and my sister were up in Gatlinburg a month ago and they actually saw an elk~!~! I went walking a trail into the mountains, alongside Little Pigeon River and though it was very peaceful and serene (Glory to God), I did not run into any wild animals but I was still praising God for the beauty and majesty of His creation~! On Friday nite, we went to Dolly Pardon's dinner theatre-DIXIE STAMPEDE-it was nice . And on Saturday, we went to her theme park, DOLLYWOOD, where we got toride a REAL steam engine thru the mountains! Mom was excited, because another unknown treat was a bluegrass and barbeque festival is going on the entire month of September at Dollywood!!! Isn't nice to walk in the favor of God? IT IS WHEN YOU HAVE NO WORLDLY OR RELIGIOUS DISTRACTIONS AND ARE FOCUSED TOTALLY ON MY LOVE, THAT IS WHEN YOUR TRUE, UNDENIABLE BEAUTY COMES THRU AND THAT IS WHEN YOU GENUINELY ATTRACT AND CAPTURE THE HEARTS OF ALL WHO SURROUND YOU. I can't believe almost an entire yr has passed since I last blogged! It has been quite a yr!!! What have y'all been up to? I hope all is well and to be God be all the glory!!!! Has everyone heard about the Florida outpouring down here in Lakeland? I went a couple of times this summer and definitely recieved a renewal of my passion 4 Jesus Christ!!! So, I started a prayer mtg meeting before church, with a few others that attended the outpouring a few times also. We wanted to bring that same over powering presence of God into our church. Lord, His Presence gets so heavy and thick when all you do is seek His glory! At times, I can't even stand because of the heaviness of His skeninah glory! Our pastor has told everyone in our church has to attend once a month untill the end of the year with alot of us praying every Sunday morn, EVEN THE TEENAGERS!!! God is going to move mightily thru our youth these last days, He is breaking thru that ole' religious mindset and doing a new thing. I had a vision during worship Sunday where the Lord handed me a male child, His pride and joy. I'm definitely being touched alot deeper by the Lord lately since I've decided to flow in His prophetic anointing. God is good!!!!On the earthly front, the tropical storm that was supposed to come to this area fizzled out before it reached us!!! Not even any rain yet!!!! TAKE THAT SATAN!!! October 27 BirthdayJosie turns 13 on Wednesday so her folks had a party for her today with alot of her family and friends. It reminded me how fleeting youth is. I remember my own 13th birthday. It was a very emotional day, I remember crying alot that day. TEENAGE HORMONES!!! My teens were horrible, I was so full of hatred-towards myself and others. That is what life is about w/o Jesus though, no hope! Especially when you are in an abusive situation, you can't see any way out. I am REALLLL-Y thankful that Christ set me free and thru my testimony He can set others free from the same bondage. Anyways, Christ has redeemed my 13th birthday via the celebration of my niece's 13th birthday party. When I see her tender heart towards Jesus and her friends and family, I am very proud and thankful of the obvious favor the Lord has bestowed upon her and how He has broken the generational curses in my family!October 26 I'M BAACK!!!! I am so soooo-ry that I haven't been posting, I have been busy with my new job and experiencing alot of spiritual warfare lately! But I can see the Light!!! I have been standing on God's promises for my financial breakthrough and I'm seeing "little droplets of His rain beginning to fall"! Can I hear a resounding HALLELUJAH for the latter rain of His Spirit?
 My new job isn't working out like I planned but I'm beginning to see the Lord's bigger plan and my place in it and SELF doesn't have any place in it! Let's get back to the cross and the blood, that is where true abundant living is-the VICTORY!Yahoo was giving me alot of grief so I finally came to the end of myself and realized I put up with alot of CRAP I do not need to! So, I closed my account and signed up with gmail. I still have my hotmail email! But I hope y'all will forgive my absence and recieve me back into your favor because you know I love the body of Christ!!!  September 30 HealingLast Monday, when I woke up My right eye was feeling sore and the bones around were quite tender to the touch. Almost like someone had punched me in the eye!  I said, oh Lord don't let it bruise! I'm a real people person and I work with the public so a black eye I SURELY DID NOT NEED! I reasoned that I had probably gotten soap in it when I washed my face and rubbed my eye. Well, it was still sore the next couple days but it did not bruise. Thursday morning I woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror, my bottom lid was red and swollen and a stye was starting to form! Oh no! Well, this was getting old! I took my authority in Christ right then and cursed the stye at it's root! I also proclaimed over myself God's word in Isaiah 54:17, NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER! IN JESUS NAME! So, I finished getting ready for work and turned on the t.v. to Benny Hinn. (I like to start my day in the Spirit) At the end of his program he always prays for various healings. Then suddenly he said, "Someone with an eye infection has just been healed"! I didn't FEEL anything but definitely had a "inner witness" that the word was for me so I said, "Thank you, Lord for my healing! BY FAITH I receive Your healing!" And I went to work and forgot all about it but when I got home that nite, I looked in the mirror and VIOLA! NO STYE AND NO SWELLING! And the pain was gone! I WORSHIPPED THE LORD! He told me a few wks ago, "This is your season!" I believe this is the season for all of us in the body of Christ for harvest!September 22 Greetings and blessings HAPPY YOM KIPPOR AND MANY BLESSINGS AS YOU GIVE YOUR SACRIFICE OF PRAISE AND HONOR GOD BY PLACING HIM ON THE HIGHEST PLACE IN YOUR LIFE SO OTHERS CAN SEE WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU!Love, Rebecca September 08 Surrendering to THE CALL"As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a Voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?...So he, trembling and astonished, said, LORD, what do You want me to do?" Acts 9:3-6
After Saul was knocked of his high horse, it didn't take him long to recognize the Lord-even in his physical and spiritual blindness. The Lord changed his name to reflect his new character in Him then sent him on to Damascus to teach him total reliance on the Lord. That is the sin that separates us from God, that independance from Him and determining to do it our way. Saul hated the christians and ZEALOUSLY persecuted the Lord's church. The Lord wants us to be passionate people who are zealous for the things of God! As my life scripture says in Song of Solomon 8:6,7="Place Me like a seal over your heart, like a seal upon your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man tried to buy love with all his wealth, his offer would be utterly scorned."
When the Lord knocked me off my "high horse" in 1994, I went from an extreme hatred of all people, especially I blamed God for giving me an abusive father, I was instantly transformed into a lover of God's people!  Let the Holy Spirit of God overflow!!! September 04 Divine HealthMy sugar has been high so my doctor put me on oral insulin and she had me checking my blood sugar 4 times a day!
 I have been avoiding this issue with my blood sugar for awhile now, but the Lord said "I cannot heal what you don't surrender". So, o.k. Abba Daddy, here goes....I'll take the pills and trust in You that Your word to me about sanctifying me thru and thru is coming to pass right now! This is Your appointed season! And every time I'd check my blood sugar, no matter the reading, I would thank the Lord for sanctifying me thru and thru and affecting a cure within me RIGHT NOW! Well, it did go down some but the doctor increased the insulin pill to twice a day-at first the pill made me real nauseous, my body was reacting!!! Then I confided in a woman at work and she was taking the same pill and told me how she kept them down and VOILA...the nausea went away! So, this morning I had a doctor appt for more lab work and my blood pressure is down, SUGAR IS DOWN AND I LOST 8 POUNDS!!! God is good! He does super abuntantly above all we could ever ask or imagine!!!! And His faithful word to me before I left for my appt this morning:"Be strong and courgeous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. DO NOT DEVIATE FROM THEM, TURNING EITHER TO THE RIGHT OR THE LEFT. Then you will be successful in EVERYTHING you do. Study this Book of Instruction CONTINUALLY. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed IN ALL YOU DO. This is My command-be strong and courgeous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you WHEREVER YOU GO." Joshua 1:7-9I believe it was Joyce Meyer I was listening to last Monday and she gave further insight for me, it was quite a revelation and I shared it while ministering at the jail. She said that all the times in the Bible that God tells us not to fear, He doesn't mean we aren't to FEEL the fear, Just don't bow down to it and let it direct our paths! We have to remember THE GREATER ONE lives within us!  September 03 PRAYER FOR THE NEW JERUSALEM"Because I love Zion, Iwill not keep still. Because MY HEART YEARNS
 for Jerusalem, I CANNOT remain silent! I WILL NOT STOP PRAYING for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn and her salvation BLAZES like a burning torch. THE NATIONS (Hebrew and Gentile) will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory and you will be given a NEW NAME by the Lord's own mouth. The Lord will hold you in His hand for all to see-a splendid crown in the hand of God. Never again will you be called "The Forsaken City" or "The Desolate Land". Your new name will be "The City of God's Delight" and "The Bride of God", for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as His bride. Your children (both jews and gentiles) will commit themselves to you, O Jerusalem, just as a young man commits himself to his bride. You raised the grain (the Messiah-the passover Lamb), and you will eat it, PRAISING THE LORD within the courtyards of the Temple, YOU YOURSELVES will drink the wine you have pressed." Isaiah 62:1-9.Jesus-The Messiah-The consolation Of Israel-is coming back for a pure and spotless bride! The true church! Which includes jews and gentiles alike! It is God's utmost desire to see Israel restored back to His original design of being one with Him and He, in His great riches and wisdom, has included us as the true gentile church in His glorious plan of redemption for the prodical son! So, it is our duty to obey His command to pray and support the great nation of Israel! "If My people who are called BY MY NAME will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, I WILL HEAR fom heaven and heal their land." II chronicles 7:14
Is our mandate any clearer? Join us in our support for Israel and release the blessing!
September 02 Restoration of the family My niece has been having a hard time at home and all her classes at school this year are advanced classes. She is excited about her spanish and science classes but the others...YUCK!!!  So, Saturday I took her shopping with me and we had a nice time so she agree to go to church with me the next day. She has been going to her friend's church at times. My pastor gave his testimony about when he broke his neck. He wasn't yet 18 yrs old but he said he knew he had to remain in the joy of the Lord no matter what or satan would use his grief to his advantage. Pastor was a football player in high school and ran track. Josie listened very intently as he spoke about praising the Lord thruout the ordeal in the hospital to the disbelief of the doctors and nurses! But what a testimony! And after the altar call, he lead the whole congregation in a prayer to recommit our lives to Christ and I heard Josie (next to me) repeating the words of recommittal! WOW!!! LOrd You are good and faithful! After the service, Josie turned to me and said "That was hard" so I prayed with her right then! God is restoring my family!August 18 Busy summerI am sorry y'all for not keeping up with my blogging!  I quit my second job last Friday night, the Lord is leading me into a deeper place of trust and intimacy with Him-it is a delightful and secure place! Of course, you know the old saying,"new levels, new devils" so satan never leaves us alone! He is ALWAYS coming against God's word! The word of God I stand on is: "GREATER IS HE WHO IS WITHIN ME THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD!" Can I "hear" an AMEN!?! The Holy Ghost is my power and brethren, if you don't know it yet, He is about to RAIN DOWN in power and authority these last days! So, make sure you are on God's team and Jesus Christ is your salvation! And if He isn't, Contact me or any of my other friends on this blog and we'll show you how to make Him your Lord and Savior! God bless you all!June 10 Death of family memberMy cousin's son, Davey Brown at 33 yrs old died Thursday of a heart attack leaving behind his wife Carrie and 4 small children. Davey was self employed and had no life insurance or any medical insurance. They lived in Marion Springs, Michigan in a brand new house, which Carrie doesn't know how much longer she can afford it since she isn't working and you know the cost of childcare these days. this morning I told my Pastor about the situation, he also lost 2 classmates this week to a heart attack and a car accident. Vut he had the entire church lift the families up in prayer. That blessed me and helped comfort as I know the prayers went straight to God's throne. And Iask 4 ya'll's prayers on Davey's family's behalf. I pray that the Lord REACHES OUT to the family. May 19 New job I started my new job this week at Largo Adult Day Care!Neighborly Senior Services runs it, Neigborly is a federal program for the elderly. It is a day progam for dementia clients so it gives their caregivers a rest! The staff is great and the clients are sooo loveable and precious! Monday was my first day and since the activity coordinator was on vacation last week, a "After Mother's Day" celebration was planned so she could be there. All the clients love her as she is very good at her job and is a very warm and loving person, Likes to hug and dance and sing! One of our clients' son is the vice mayor of Seminole so she got him and THE MAYOR-Jimmy Johnson-to come in and pin corsages on the ladies! The mayor was so gracious, you could tell he really enjoyed himself, he even led the sing-a-long! He loves to sing and even danced with the ladies! And he talked to all the men about their war stories and etc. Pat got the St. Pete Times to send a photographer out to take pictures. I tried to stay out of the line of the camera but lo and behold, there we were the next day on the front page of the largo Times section of the paper! but all in all, everyone had a grand ole' time, even me...on my first day!!!! I think I'm going to really, really love this job because I already do and feel part of the family already! What did our Lord say in Jeremiah 29:11? "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not for evil". HE IS A GOOD DADDY!!! |
