April 28 New job As many of y'all knw, I've been job hunting. My current job has no benefits of any kind and I REALLY NEED medical insurance! Nothing is going on in my body but I'm being realistic because you never know what life is going to throw at you, especialt when you are...hump....40-something!I start a new job at an adult daycare on May 14-Mondays thru Fridays; 8-4:30. PAID MEDICAL and 8 paid holidays a yr! I'm considering staying on my current job a couple days a week until the bills are caught up. I went before the Lord this morning about staying on and He said, "Whatever you decide, Princess, you will be blessed!" Didn't really answer my question the way I wanted but it helped move me into His rest! Knowing He is soveriegnly in control of all the situations in my life takes the pressure off, now if I just stand firm!!!! So, would y'all keep me in your prayers? Love you all! Rebecca April 21 Legal right My heart goes out to ALL the victims and families of the Virginia Tech massacre! It must be devastating and I am truly sorry this country has come to this when someone can have such disregard for human life that human life is destroyed-this is a case of full demon possesion! I don't want to give satan any glory so I usually don't participate in the media frenzy at the time but believe me I'm just as enraged as everyone else! Satan kills millions of innocent unborn children everyday thru legalized murder called "abortion" every day, we gave him legal right, so was it too far of a leap to kill college students? satan will not just take "his inch" and remain there because he is always looking for that higher high, another way to promote his glory. He rules by instilling fear! Look at the muslim and islamic nations, satan is all over them-he is their ruling power! Make no mistake, folks, we are in a SPIRITUAL WAR!!!! And satan will use anyone. This world needs to fall on our knees in repentance to our merciful Lord Jesus and ask for forgiveness for allowing satan ANY access at all in our world! Quit blaming everybody else when it is our own selfishness for the lusts and pleasures of this world that consume us! I call out to all my brethren in Christ to raise your voices-the voice the Lord God has given us and fight the enemy of our souls and his lies; take back this country! April 20 update on God's loveIt was an awesome time yesterday at the jail during and after my teaching! 4 more souls were added to the kingdom of heaven! Other women recommitted their lives to Christ! I talked about "the sinful woman" in Luke 7 and how her eyes only focused on Jesus not the judging people around her and how the Lord saw her heart not her past. Then I explained the phrase someone once told me, "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called" so that is why He can take our "mess" and turn US into the message! After I was finished, Joyce took over and we prayed because she felt the Lord wanted to do more and she got a word-suicide-and I got a vision of a raging waterfall and the Lord was saying, "even in this together we can overcome, for I AM your Prince of peace". Then I prayed for that peace that is found in the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus. April 14 The Love Of God I'm doing a teaching at the jail on Thursday about "God's Love IN Us"> The amplified bible says it is POURED OUT upon us by the Spirit! So, whether we "feel" love for someone or not, the love is right there in our hearts waiting to be released!! We just APPROBIATE it, claim it! Die to that ole' flesh! Sounds easy? As an former abused woman with alot of rage in her heart, I know it is a DAILY decision of surrender to the will and purpose of God, TO CHOOSE good over evil! But I always ask myself was it easy for Christ to go to the cross for me? I've heard it said that nails did not hold Christ to the cross, love for you and me did!And I'm soooo thankful He went for me!April 08 Resurrection SundayHallelujah!!!! HE IS RISEN!!!

Mary Magdalene found the disciples and TOLD THEM. I HAVE SEEN THE LORD! Then she gave them HIS MESSAGE."The first envangelist? Yes, Mary was the first person to witness the risen Lord!!!! April 04 The Peace of GodYesterday as I was sitting by the pool with my cousin, Robin, we were discussing an aunt that recently died back in Michigan. Robin (my cousin) was with aunt Donna in the hospital during her last days. My aunt had accepted Christ in her childhood but had strayed away, So, she asked Robin to call her pastor so she could repent and be assured of going to heaven. This greatly relieved me as my Aunt was very dear to me and was a big part of my life growing up since we lived only blocks from her home. But back to my cousin, Robin and I grew up together and "hung out" during our teen years. Robin has always been searching for unconditional love from a father figure since her own father rejected her and embraced his other children. Anyways, Donna's death has left her with questions. (Naturally) I tried explaining the source of my peace and contentment and that I'm not searching anymore. Robin has always had a sensitive heart and she went to a baptist private school for a couple years where she accepted Christ at one time years ago. Iwanted to pray with her but the Lord said no so Ijust explained the peace I feel in this abiding relationship I have with Him. I have never married but do believe Christ has a husband for me on this earth so I;m resting and trusting in His goodness! Then she asked me about children! I'm 47 also, remember Robin? Then I remembered how Sarah laughed too!April 02 Praying 4 ur enemiesA couple months ago, a woman started working on my shift at the retirement home where along with my med tech duties and floor work, I am the afternoon supervisor. She did poor work, take breaks w/o telling me and leave the building so I could not find her. I was at my wits end with her and did not want to seem harsh with her. After complaining to my supervisor, we decided to move her work station next to mine so I could keep a closer eye on her. I went home and prayed about the situation and the Lord reminded me of the scripture about blessing your enemies-OH NO not the blessing FOR HER!!!! Yes for HER too! So, I began praying blessings over her nightly and GUESS WHAT? MY HEART began to change and soften towards her, I began to see her thru Christ's eyes-I BEGAN TO LOVE HER!!!! She began to tell me everytime she took a break and 4 how long and she is always true to her word, she is a good worker now and never leaves the building anymore. I make sure I compliment her and Saturday night, she was scheduled 4 a double shift and I told her to go the store to get some snacks 4 herself to eat during the night and she was back in 15 minutes!!!! God is good!!! |
