March 31 Tommorrow!!!I called SIS yesterday and asked her, WHEN ARE YOU COMING HOME?  I'm tired of cleaning after THE CRITTERS! I'm not getting any sleep because they prowl all night! (WHINE) SERVANTHOOD!!! Is this why the Lord said "stay on the narrow path"? I can't find any room 4 ME on this path!!!! Anyhoo, sis and hubby and daugter are having a great time in North Carolina and Virginia!!! Guess, it is beautiful this time of yr in the mountains, they were going hiking yesterday and they will be home tommorrow!!! Then maybe I can start planning MY vacation and get MY sleep! March 25 pet sittingMy sister is on vacation this wk so I am watching the critters and feeding them. (she has a hi def t.v. too!) So, this morning I fed the iguana her veggies, iguanas only eat every other day BT( Thank God!!!) So, I take the bag of veggies to her cage, with the dog following me (rat terrier) and low and behold the iguana's bowl had been tossed to the bottom of her cage!  Just for a moment I thought about reaching into the cage to retrieve the bowl! Then my Spirit heard a definite, OH NO YOU DON'T! I know where that came from, Thank you Jesus! So, I went back into the kitchen and got another bowl and poured the veggies into that and QUICKLY put the bowl in the cage before she could lash her loooo-ng tail at me! Another way the Lord protects me! Thank You Lord!!! WHEW!!!!March 21 Friends I ChristI was just reminded of something...when we are "too busy" 4 the friends that YOU KNOW Christ has put in ur life, you are just plain too busy! I'm thankful 4 the favor and grace the Lord has poured out upon me and never is it my intention to ignore any of my friends and I'm thankful how God uses my friends to speak to me. It is very humbling but "iron sharpens iron", right? Anyways, if y'all don't know I LOVE Y'ALL!  March 16 St. Patrick's Day HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY Y'ALL!!!! Now, I know i'm a day early but that is one of my compulsions; promptness and earliness if at all possible. Now, I have some irish in me as well as american indian and english. Christ embraces every part of us , in Revelation He says every tribe, tongue, and nation will come before Him and worship. IT"S A DONE DEAL!!!!HALLELUJAH!!!! Sosomeday, in addition to the "IRISH JIG" I'm going to praise Him with the highest form of worship by the sioux, "THE DANCE OF THE EAGLE"!!!March 14 Psalm 8O Lord,our Lord, how excellant is Your name IN ALL THE EARTH, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You SILENCE the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR. You have made him to have DOMINION over the works of Your hands; You have put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET, all sheep and oxen-even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass thru the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord. how excellant is Your name IN ALL THE EARTH!
I have been meditating and confessing this Psalm this week because I want to see a deeper demension of His glory! March 12 online familyI met a friend, whom I had met online & who lives here in St. Petersburg, for lunch. It is so great making new friends online, especially when they belong to Jesus, it just warms my heart to know there are sooo many born again christians out there on this 'net. I"ve "met" some wonderful people,
that I never would have otherwise! God has a creative family!!!! Actually, when you think about it He is a great big God so He has a great big family so He would want ALL His children to come together.
"even the very gates of hell cannot come against My church". March 11 Time change!!!! <That describes my feelings about it!!! It takes me an entire week to catch up and let my body to adjust! And I absolutely HATE seeing children wait for the school bus in the dark!!!! You think with all these child abductions, especially down here in the "Sunshine State" that they would be taken into consideration but NOOOO, we need daylight in the late afternoon for Golfers! And i don't have anything against golfers,(some golfers are really good friends) I just think the children take precendence!!! I'm glad there is no time in heaven and the children will be happy there!!! I can't wait for the Lion to lay down with the Lamb!Anyhoo...Greg, I have to apologize to you, my friend. I did not go to church on Friday nite to see Kenneth Copeland on the live stream. I worked until 3 that day and came home all excited, took a
shower, got all dressed then sat down in my lounger and fell asleep! I was worn out!!! Then the next morning I was called into work to work a double!!! And then with the time change because I lost an hour of sleep after working 14 hrs I was too tired for church! But I had an awesome worship time with just the Lord and Me!!!!Praise the Lord, He works it all out for good!March 04 Divine connections-seasonsMy friend and mentor Joyce and her husband have decided to leave our church to further pursue God's calling on their lives as one flesh. Joyce is still going to be involved in the jail ministry so I will still have contact with her but this is going to be a huge adjustment for our church, Pastor too since she was very helpful to him and his family. So, please pray for my church and pastor Steve!  After church, I ran into an old friend who is a very dear sister in Christ. I had been praying to get in touch with her for a long time because we had lost touch when I quit my last job. One door closes and another one opens! God is sooooo good!March 02 GraceYesterday while at the jail I was going to give a message on the deeper grace of God. He changed the message a little just before but He does that. So, as I stood before 16 women plus Joyce (my mentor), I tried to find the notes I had just 5 minutes before! I remembered the scriptures in Matthew 25 about the 5 wise brides and the 5 foolish one and explained the symbolism of having enough oil (Holy Spirit) and being prepared. Then a scripture in James 4:6 about God pulling us deeper into His graces but I couldn't go on! I told the women I lost my notes and couldn't remember what else I had written down then Joyce took over w/o skipping a beat! She went on to explain the importance of being prepared for the Lord's second coming, especially now! She said she felt the Lord was giving us a serious warning! So, there I was a REAL living testament to God's grace standing before them! I truly do love being a vessel of God's grace but sometimes dying to my flesh still hurts! But I do thank Him for "using the foolish things of the world..." Then, afterwards as Joyce was giving out new bible studies I stay behind in case anyone wants prayer. I really didn't think there was much use for me then but one woman came up and wanted me to lay hands on her so she could recieve her prayer language. O LORD!!!! How can I do this? And that was exactly the point... I laid hands on the woman and started praying in tongues and soon she was praying in tongues right along with me!!!! It was truly amazing! And ALL God! Another scripture that comes to mind right now is "humble yourself beneath the mighty hand of God and He shall lift you up". That woman was so excited and I was for her too! |
